APC First-Term Governors Meet Behind Closed Doors in Kebbi, Set Agenda on Governance and Party Affairs:

Governors serving their first terms under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday convened a high-level closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Government House in Birnin Kebbi to deliberate on key national issues and the future direction of the ruling party.

The strategic session, hosted by Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, brought together 18 APC first-term governors from across the country to discuss matters relating to governance, party unity, and national development.

Among the governors reported to be in attendance were those from Kaduna, Plateau, Ekiti, Delta, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo, Kogi, Sokoto, Benue, and other APC-controlled states.

The governors were received at the Government House by their host, Governor Nasir Idris, alongside the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, ahead of the commencement of the meeting.

According to available information, the deliberations are expected to focus on strengthening collaboration among APC-controlled states, enhancing policy coordination, and advancing initiatives that support economic growth, good governance, national unity, and sustainable development.

The meeting is also expected to review issues affecting the ruling party as preparations gradually gather momentum ahead of future political activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum is expected to brief journalists on the resolutions reached and the key outcomes of the discussions.

The gathering underscores the continued consultations among APC governors aimed at promoting effective governance and reinforcing cooperation within the party across the federation.
