According to the document circulating online, the aspirants reaffirmed their loyalty to President Tinubu, congratulated him on the third anniversary of his administration, and pledged their unwavering support for his re-election bid in 2027.

The letter, however, expressed deep concern over the current state of the APC in Kwara State.

The signatories alleged that the political coalition that delivered the party's historic victory during the 2019 "O To Ge" movement has gradually weakened due to what they described as the exclusion and marginalization of several party stakeholders over the years.

The aspirants reportedly argued that many founding members and loyal supporters who contributed to the party's success have been sidelined from both government and party affairs, a situation they claimed has negatively affected the APC's political strength and unity in the state.

They further called on President Tinubu to carefully review recent developments surrounding the party's governorship primary, including allegations that results were announced for a primary election they claimed did not take place.

According to the social media document, the group urged the President to consider the political experience, loyalty, capacity and statewide acceptability of the various governorship aspirants in order to facilitate the emergence of a consensus candidate capable of restoring unity, rebuilding confidence among stakeholders and strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

The aspirants reportedly pledged that, should such an intervention occur, they would unite behind any consensus candidate acceptable to President Tinubu and the national leadership of the party, while committing their political structures and resources toward ensuring victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.

The letter also appealed for fairness in the selection of candidates for other elective offices, including the National Assembly and the Kwara State House of Assembly, stressing the need for broad political inclusion.
