The 2026 Budo-Egba Ward Summer Lesson Programme has successfully come to an end, following weeks of intensive academic activities, mentorship and educational engagement aimed at keeping children and young people productively occupied and academically prepared during the long vacation.
The programme, which commenced as a community-driven educational initiative, culminated in a colourful Grand Finale and Prize-Giving Ceremony on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Saint Kelvin Primary School LGEA, Budo-Egba Ward, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The closing ceremony brought together participating learners, volunteer teachers, parents, community stakeholders and other supporters of the initiative to celebrate the achievements recorded throughout the programme.
STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN TO SECONDARY LEVEL PARTICIPATED
The Summer Lesson Programme provided academic engagement for learners across different educational levels, including Kindergarten classes, Primary 1–6, Junior Secondary School (JSS) 1–3 and Senior Secondary School (SSS) 1–3.
Throughout the programme, the pupils and students were exposed to structured learning activities designed to strengthen their academic foundation, improve their understanding of key subjects and prepare them for the new academic session.
