Kwara APC Holds ‘Kwara Ndupe’ Mega Rally, Reaffirms Unity and Readiness for 2027 Elections:

Thousands of members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday converged on the streets of Ilorin for the “Kwara Ndupe” Thank You Rally, organised to appreciate party members, celebrate the successful conduct of the party’s primary elections, and reaffirm support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the APC governorship candidate Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, and other party flag bearers ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The colourful procession witnessed a massive turnout of party faithful, who marched through major roads in the Ilorin metropolis, displaying party banners, placards, and campaign materials while expressing confidence in the APC’s continued leadership in Kwara State.

Addressing supporters during the rally, the Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Barr. Abdulkadir Oba Magaji, described the impressive turnout as a clear reflection of the party’s strength and unity, expressing optimism that the APC would maintain its political dominance in the state beyond 2027.

Also speaking, the Senior Adviser and Counsellor to the Governor, Alhaji Sa’adu Salau, urged party members to remain focused on issue-based campaigns, stressing that the APC would campaign on the achievements of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration, particularly in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and workers’ welfare.

Represented by the Deputy State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari, the Kwara APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, commended members for the overwhelming participation and appealed to aggrieved party faithful to embrace the ongoing reconciliation process in the interest of party unity.

The Kwara State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Alhaji Abdulateef Alakawa, described the rally as a demonstration of gratitude to God and appreciation for the peaceful conduct of the APC primary elections. He noted that the gathering also reaffirmed the loyalty of Kwara APC members to President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq while expressing confidence that the party’s internal reconciliation efforts would further strengthen its cohesion ahead of the elections.

The APC candidate for Kwara North Senatorial District, Dr. Ahmad Umar Muhammad, thanked party members for the confidence reposed in him and appreciated President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq for their leadership, describing the zoning of the governorship ticket to Kwara North as a demonstration of equity and inclusiveness.

Similarly, the APC candidate for Kwara South Senatorial District, Prince Olalekan Adewoye, expressed gratitude to party leaders and members for the opportunity to fly the party’s flag, reaffirming that the APC remains united and prepared for victory.

Also speaking, the APC candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Dr. Rafiu Ajakaye, said the remarkable turnout at the rally further demonstrated the APC’s popularity and readiness to retain its electoral dominance in the 2027 general elections.

The rally concluded with renewed calls for unity, reconciliation, grassroots mobilisation, and sustained support for all APC candidates as preparations intensify for the forthcoming elections.
